An IDC insertion tool also known as a Krone tool is best for connecting the cables.When the connections are complete the snap down cover can be pressed into place covering the connections and clamping the cable in place. The cover has verystrong tamper proof clipsto prevent further removal of the cover. It is recommended that you test your installation before snapping the cover in place as it is very difficult to remove again.
