They can handle up to 50% more heat input than pure tungsten, and they are an excellent non-radioactive substitute for 2% Thoriated tungsten. Weld-Forge 1.5% Lanthanated tungsten electrodes feature superior arc starts, slow burn-off and long life, even under pulsed welding or heavy amperage loads.
